Compendium Challenge #8

Happy Friday all !!   This weeks challenge is #58 faded layers.   This is a super cool technique that can give you a different look each time you do it.    Grab a copy of Tim's book "Compendium of Curiosities .. it's chock full of super cool techniques.

I used Rangers glossy cardstock and then chose my alcohol inks.   I used Stream, Willow, Wild Plum and some silver metallic mixative.   The stencil I used was "Bubble".   Here is how it turned out.

 

I love the umbrella guy and mirror paper and ended up with this  :)

 

 

 

I love the way the colors blend, but you can pop out a pattern out.    I wish I had a better camera to really pick up the detail, but maybe I can ask for gift cards .. I do have my 50th birthday coming up here in a couple months .. lol
