Simon Says Monday Challenge

Howdy All !!    We're half way through the week ... the weather appears to be turning spring like again so it's all good  :)

This weeks Simon Says Monday Challenge theme is .... Transparent.   

So I decided to use my Wendy Vecchi "clearly for art".    It's kinda like shrinky dink paper, but it doesn't shrink your image.    When heated it allows you to be able to form and shape the image.  I can see myself using this stuff more now that I've actually played with it.    If you don't like how you've shaped something you just reheat it and re-shape it ... AWESOME !!!!!    I love any product that is basically mistake proof  :)

I started with lime and tangerine gellatos on the background and used water to soften it out.   I used the background from Wendy Vecchi's stamp set Art from the heart, the flower is also from that same set.   I stamped the flower with archival ink, waited for it to dry and then painted the back with Wild Honey and Mowed Lawn Distress Paint.   I used a Tim Holtz stencil to lightly ink some dots on the tag.  I used some modeling paste and a circle stencil to put some texture on the background.

All in all I think it turned out cute .. it's springy !!    Here's a closer look
