Tim's 12 Tags - April

I loved the tag Tim Holtz made this month for his 12 tags.   It had so many cool pieces to it.   I've seen so many cute projects with his trellis alteration die from Sizzix.   As soon as I saw his tag this month I jumped on Ebay and grabbed mine.    

I started with a #8 tag and put down some of Tim's paper tape.   I didn't use the same colors as Tim did because I'm just starting to build my distress paint family.   I just finished my distress stains .. woo hoo !!!    So I put some Mustard Seed distress paint on the tag

Then I put some walnut stain on the tag with my newly shipped mini ink blending tool .. love it .. it is the best tool, especially if you use Tim's layering stencils.   Any who back to the tag .. I used Tim's paper stash paper for the flowers cut from his tattered Pinecone alterations die.    I used salty ocean distress paint for the trellis, sanded it and distressed it with walnut stain distress ink.

I used Mustard Seed distress ink with water to die the crinkle ribbon.   I added the token and that completed the tag.   I really like it !!    But heck anything that starts with Tim Holtz .. I LOVE  :)
