Compendium Challenge #15

Howdy all !    I can't believe we're already on the 15th challenge !!   WOW, I might not be doing the greatest at blogging lately, but I have done all 15 of the challenges so I feel like I've accomplished something  :)     So this challenge is #38 - Cabinet Card Frames.   This is one of those things that I've had sitting in my stash (like many others) that I just wasn't sure what to do with.   but after seeing all the beyond amazing projects from the Curiousity Crew .. I had a better idea.

I went to a garage sale in my neighborhood and bought these 8x10 wood plaques .. figuring I could use them for something .. afterall they were 20 cents a piece !!     So here is the base of my project
We took the Grandkids to see Santa this weekend so I'm all about Christmas now.    I covered the board with Tim Holtz Merriment paper stash paper, then I used his Christmas layering stencil to put some words with texture paste around the outside edges.
I didn't take many in between photos because I just started rolling in the creative process and forgot :)   I used all kinds of Tim goodies for this one .. Kraft glassine paper, hitch fastners, tinsel twine, a monicle, some remnant rubs and a couple more which I have forgetten their names  :)    So here is the finished project ..  I"m not 100% happy, but heck when I am ever with my own creations.
Remember if you would like to join in or just gander at the Curiousity Crews projects you can go to  - a link can be found on the right side of my blog.    Tim and Mario being the sweeties they are have an awesome prize pack they are giving away to the pick of the Curiousity Crew.    And Inspiration Emporium is giving away a $50 gift certificate to their awesome store full of goodies !!    You can find the link to their store on the right side of the blog .. check them out you won't be disappointed  :)
Thanks for stopping in for a look .. Happy Crafting !!!!!
