The theme for the challenge this week is "Silhouette" let me be totally honest .. not a huge fan of the silhouette .. not sure why .. I just never really "got" them :)
So here is the page .. finished (sorry again)
You can't really see much of the detail in the layering so I tool some closer photos of the finished page to hopefully show you some cool areas of the page. I started with 7 Gypsies tissue paper as the first layer. This page has a lot of my fave item .. modeling paste !!
In this photo you can see that I used a large manila tag.. this tag just had a lot of ink and stamps on it, washi tape, modeling paste with some different colors added. I used a Dylusion mask for the silhouette with some .. you guessed .. colored modeling paste. I love that stuff !!! It adds such great texture !
In this photo you can see I used more washi tape, masking tape and some dry wall tape. All in all the page didn't turn out too bad .. I'm thinking it may need words .. I'll have to think about that :)

ReplyDeleteThis page is stunning! I am in total awe of all the textures and layers you created and thought the tag you worked into the background was a great idea. Too bad about those nasty camera gods frowning on you! Even so, I can just imagine all the amazing techniques that went into this masterpiece! I also really like how you made the silhouette a little "shadowy" and not so clear and crisp. I would've never thought to do that! All in all, this is a really striking creation and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!
